About us

Museum in Svätý Anton is contributory organisation directly managed by Ministry of agriculture of the Slovak republic. It is specialised organisation focused on all Slovak regions. Museum systematically collects significant articles, professionally handles with art-historical and hunting collection fund and accesses collected articles to public through permanent expositions, long-time, short-time and touring exhibitions.
Museum in Svätý Anton is important museum in Slovakia oriented on hunting, carries out various activities abroad. It practices professional- methodical activities, processes and exercises outer documents in relation with complex evolution documentation, history of major local families Koháry and Coburg and contemporary status of hunting.
In a field of hunting and research about families Koháry and Coburg museum cooperates with specialised institutes in Slovakia and abroad too. All information and knowledges are used by improvement cultural and educational activities.
